Our History
“The Engineer” is an exciting project that began to take shape in July 2023, with the vision of providing a comprehensive platform for education and news for the engineering community. Our founder and CEO, Samuel José Parariá Velandia, a civil engineering student at Francisco de Paula Santander University in Cúcuta, Colombia. His unwavering passion for engineering and his upcoming graduation in late 2024 inspired him to create this unique platform.

Our Community
At “The Engineer,” we serve a diverse community of engineers, from students taking their first steps in engineering to professionals with decades of experience. Our goal is to be a valuable resource for everyone, providing relevant and useful content for every stage of your engineering career. Our initial focus was on Civil Engineering, as the idea for this project originated from that field. However, we are gradually seeking committed collaborators from various engineering branches. We have already started working with Biotechnology and plan to expand to ten more engineering disciplines soon.
